IgA Nephropathy Research Study

We are looking for those with diagnosed IgAN (Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy) to take part in this research study.

What is the trial about?

IgA Nephropathy is a chronic kidney disease that is caused when the Immunoglobulin A (IgA) protein gets trapped in the filters of the kidney, causing damage to the whole kidney. This protein's main role is normally to fight infections in the body but in the case of those with IgAN, can ultimately result in kidney failure. This disease is also known as Berger's Disease.

This study is looking for patients with a diagnosed case of IgA Nephropathy to play their part in a research study investigating the effectiveness of the study treatment in reducing proteinuria and preserving renal function.

FAQs

How can trial participation help me and others?

Participation in clinical trials provides access to innovative and potentially life-saving treatments. It also contributes to medical research, benefiting both current and future healthcare outcomes. It provides cutting-edge medical care under professional supervision and empowers individuals to contribute to the well-being of society. However, participants should carefully weigh up the risks and benefits and seek advice from their doctor before taking part in a trial.
